Ng Wah Lok
Founder of Tabernacle Music

Wah Lok has been a worship leader in Full Gospel Tabernacle since 1981. Over the last 25 years, he has written more than 100 songs. He holds a Masters Degree in Engineering, and worked as an Engineer, and later as a Senior General Manager of a steel company for 14 years. In 1999, he responded to God's call to full time service and took the position as Principal of Tung Ling Seminary. He also pastors a Full Gospel Tabernacle branch church in Kuala Lumpur.

Wah Lok has released 3 albums entitled Every Time I Pray, Shining Stars and Messiah King. One of his songs, titled Harvest of the Field, co-written with Barbara Tipper won the Australian  Gospel Awards for best hymn in 2004. His signature song Every Time I Pray madea global impact in Chinese Churches across the world. He writes and teaches  extensively on areas related to music, worship and song writing.

Released in 2001, Every Time I Pray is Wah Lok's debut album. The album consists of 12 songs, 11 of which are written by him. The title song "Every Time I Pray", written in 1981,  made a global impact in  Chinese Churches across the world. This album contains Wah Lok’s early songs including Approved in every way ( 1982) , How I love to worship ( 1985) and Flow Holy Spirit ( 1995) and We’re here by grace ( 1999).

Released in 2002, Shining Stars contains 12 of Wah Lok's original songs. Wah Lok has emerged as an anointed songwriter who captures moments of history in songs. The title track "Shining Stars" was written for Tung Ling Seminary graduating students. The song "She moves her feet to dance" is about how a young girl who was paralyzed, was miraculously healed when the church prayed. Another song "Beside You" was written for a friend who had terminal cancer.

Released in 2007, Messiah King contains 10 of Wah Lok’s original songs, 8 of which were co-written with Barbara Tipper. One of the songs, Harvest of the field won the Australian Gospel Awards 2004  for Best Hymn. The title track Messiah King is a good worship with a focus on Jesus as King. One Voice, One Heart was used for the  National Prayer Rally  2003.  This album also contains his hit song, Every Time I Pray  in the Portuguese language. The song was recorded in Portugal with orchestral arrangement.
