As we approached the completion of our church (Full Gospel Tabernacle) building in year 2002, I deeply wanted to write a song for our dedication service. Over the years, I have captured most of our important history with a song and this was one event I did not want to miss. We had labored hard to build our RM 7 million (USD 1.85 million) facility. I wrote several draft songs and threw them all away as I knew they were not what God wanted.

Finally, when I wrote this song, I saw a vision of people on their knees praying at FGT's new sanctuary. And I knew that this was the song God wanted. Amazingly, when Pastor Hock Huat chaired the first meeting in our new building , he got the members to kneel down and pray as they sang this song. When our Sr. Pastor. Hong Seng shared his first sermon in the building, he shared that God wanted to make FGT a house of prayer.
